Hayling Island is a very popular holiday hot spot with fabulous choice of restaurants and pubs, tea rooms, bakery, and seaside shops. For those who enjoy walking explore The Hayling Billy train line, which ran from 1867 until it finally closed in 1963 since then the route has been renovated and provides an enjoyable and safe location for walkers, cyclists, and wheelchair users. This route takes in some local countryside, as well as part of the old train route, to provide a circular walk with great views into Chichester and Langstone harbours. Further afield Visit Portsmouth with waterside dining, ferry trips to the Isle of Wight, designer outlets, Natural History Museum, Spinnaker Tower, and the HMS Victor. The historic city of Chichester should not be missed you can watch a show at the renowned Chichester Festival Theatre, visit Goodwood Races including the Festival of Speed, explore the Cathedral and shops in the city centre and visit Chichester Harbour.Information last updated: 20/10/2023 12:15:40
