Side - meaning pomegranate - is a beautiful coastal resort and classical town on the Turkish Mediterranean coast. It’s just over 70 km from Antalya and is near Manavgat, on a peninsula that’s only 800m long. Holidaymakers come both for the beaches and for the buildings. Western beach is closest to the town but Eastern beach is better.
