Disabled Holidays in Icmeler
İçmeler is located on the Datcha peninsular. It’s a popular holiday resort situated five miles away from Marmaris on the Turkish Riviera. Icmeler is purpose built for tourism, but is set in a sweeping bay and surrounded by pine forested mountains. The beach is wide, sand and shingle, with palm and eucalyptus trees providing lots of shade and a promenade lined with shops, bars and restaurants running all the way to Marmaris. There’s also a traditional old village and a canal running through the resort. Tuck into Turkish pizza by the canal, buy delicious and authentic Turkish delight from a market stall or take the plunge in a Turkish bath.
How To Get There
There are regular flights to Dalaman airport for the resort of İçmeler from most UK airports. Flight times are just under four hours and it’s 31 miles from the airport to the resort.

In spring the temperature is in the 20°s C, creeping past 30° C in the summer. Autumn is still pleasant while it's only slightly cooler in winter.
