Description
This traditional farmhouse lies half a mile beyond the outskirts of Alston on the borders of Northumbria and Cumbria, central in the North Pennines, an AONB. Alston is said to be England’s highest market town. Fishing, riding and golf nearby. Follow some of the local rambles or the Pennine Way. Or just stay home and relax in front of the fire and eat together with family and friends. Set in a garden, bordered by mature trees with panoramic views over green fields and wild fells. Before it lies the site of an ancient Britain fort, and behind, the Roman’s Maiden Way.
Assisted wheelchair users can be accommodated on the ground floor.
